The Bees Of Greater Manchester - Beequest

On May 22nd 2017 an atrocious terrorist attack in Manchester claimed the lives of so many young people. Philip Butler felt powerless to help, but desperate to do something.

Walking through the streets over the coming days he spotted several pieces of Bee-related street art which inspired him to create a book to raise money for charity. His quest to find and photograph the Bees of Manchester and Salford began.

Beequest contains nearly 200 photographs documenting over 120 different bees throughout both cities; from beehives on the cathedral roof and coasts of arms on historic buildings through to street art, tattoos and graffiti.

100% profit from the sale of each book has been donated to the Manchester Memorial Fund.

This is a wonderful book and filled with fantastic images once lockdown has stopped you will be able to go and explore.
